Hotel Garni Pirchhutt Obergurgl
The family-run 3-star Hotel Garni Pirchütt is a charming traditional bed and breakfast hotel on the outskirts of Obergurgl. It has easy access to skiing through the Festkogel gondola lift station opposite.
Located on the edge of the village in Obergurgl but right next to the Festkogel lift station, providing ski-in ski-out to Obergurgl’s ski area, the Pirchhütt is a real gem of a 3-star, run by Martin and Andrea Grüner.
Sometimes we are really blown away by the quality of small 3-star hostelries and that is certainly the case with the Pirchhütt. Surrounded by the mountains, this charming hotel was recently renovated and is presented in Tyrolean timber cladding with wooden balconies.
Accommodation is provided on a B&B basis and all rooms and bathrooms are all sharply appointed with much use of pine, warm fabrics and colours. All with en suites and cable TVs, the rooms are comfortable. Most have balconies.
Wellness is provided through the hotel’s new spa area, which includes a Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, solarium and a variety of showers. A smart relaxation area finishes the act, which is an impressive one for a 3-star garni.
Martin Grüner is a qualified ski-instructor and offers lessons to guests of the Pirchhütt.
