The Josl Mountain Lounging Hotel is a modern 4-star hotel conveniently located in the centre of Obergurgl only a 2-minute walk from the main ski-lifts. Stylish contemporary accommodation is enhanced by good bar, lounge and wellness areas.
The ultra-modern design of the’ Josl’ may not appeal to everybody but it does represent a cutting edge change to the Tyrolean norm and provides slick and comfortable 4-star accommodation in the centre of Obergurgl and a couple of minutes from the main lifts.
Light-filled rooms are finished in modern dark woods and warm colours and fabrics, which set off the sharp lines of half-glazed ensuite bathrooms and modern lighting. All have flatscreen TVs.
The ‘Mountain Lounge’ bar and relax area is furnished in a bright modern colour palette and has an open-chimney fireplace. The Josl Keller bar is popular later in the evening.
A good buffet breakfast is offered in the restaurant as part of the half-board package.In the evenings a four course dinner ranging from Tyrolean dishes to international cuisine is included.
The ‘Sky Sphere’ wellbeing area is located on the top floor of the hotel and offers unusual and well provided spa facilities, comprising whirlpool, sauna, steam room and treatment rooms looking out over the high mountains of the Otztal.
