Directions for driving to Cervinia
Road access to Cervinia is from the Aosta Valley A5 toll motorway, leaving the motorway at the exit for Chatillon then the last 40 minutes of the road journey is on mountain roads. Snow chains or winter tyres should be booked in advance, and bear in mind that the night time temperatures in Cervinia can be very low!

Getting to Cervinia by Train
There is a train station in Chatillon Saint Vincent, at the bottom of the Valtournenche valley, and there is a bus service from Chatillon to Valtournenche and Cervinia. To speed up the journey you can also take a taxi/ private transfer – which can be booked online in advance through Ski-Lifts. Cervinia is served by a regular ski bus, though most 3- and 4-star hotels also offer shuttle services to and from the lifts. The Savda bus company operates bus services from Milan Lampugnano and Turin airports, as well as local services within the valley.
