The Hotel Pilier D’Angle is a 3-star hotel in Courmayeur. It is a traditional stone mountain lodge in the characterful hamlet of Entreves, just on the northern edge of Courmayeur. The main building is restored from an old alpine house with much of the original stonework remaining. The two other buildings, the chalet and the foyer, have been added to complete the complex. So a delightful combination of contemporary design and old alpine construction, which works so well because of the natural materials used and clever architecture. Located 2.5km from the centre of Courmayeur, however, a mere 200-300m from the Val Veny and Mont Blanc Glacier cable cars.

As you enter the hotel the exposed stone walls and wood panels add to the character of this traditional chalet. The inviting reception area, with large open fire and comfortable seating area make you feel welcome.

The rooms have their own individual styles, tastefully furnished with wood panelled walls and flooring. All rooms come ensuite, fitted with satellite TV and minibar.

The hotel offers two restaurants, one in the main hotel building and the A La Carte restaurant which is located in the Tavern of Pilier. The hotel restaurant is dominated by a high vaulted ceiling giving the room a sense of grandeur. The A La Carte restaurant is renowned in the area with both guests and locals. Numerous paintings adorn the stone walls; a roaring open fire creates a warm and welcoming place to enjoy the hotel’s fine regional and national dishes.

The Serendip Spa Complex boasts a variety of treatments and massages as well as a Jacuzzi, steam bath, sauna, hot tropical rain shower, cool shower and relaxation room. All well deserved after a long day of skiing.
