Hotel Swizzero is a unique boutique 4-star hotel in Courmayeur. This post Second World War property emulated a rustic Swiss style chalet. It has been run by the same family living in these valleys for generations and who have succeeded in keeping this charming hotel authentic to original styles at the same time as delivering modern day comfort and function. All that makes up Hotel Swizzero is wood and stone, sourced from existing or old alpine residences, causing it to blend with the environment and art of the land. The hotel is in a raised position overlooking the town, located next to the historic area of Courmayeur.

The interiors are fitted with handcrafted salvaged wood and local fabrics. The traditional furniture gives the hotel a cosy and intimate atmosphere, added to by the grand log burning fireplaces.

The traditional alpine rooms come ensuite with a large balcony, finished with old salvaged wood thoughout, giving it the homely alpine feel. We are reluctant to call it alpine-chic but this is much of what alpine-chic is trying to achieve. The rooms are distinguished by their views, with the west side views on the village of Dolonne or the east side views of the Mont Blanc chain. Also fitted with TV and refrigerator.

Dining at Hotel Swizzero is a delight, with offerings of fresh, seasonal produce and time-honoured Italian cuisine. With a wide range of local cheeses and wines as well served in their lovely dining room and terrace, you have a warm atmosphere to relax and refuel after a day on the slopes.

The Swizzero has a wellness centre including a Turkish bath, sauna and a jacuzzi on the panoramic terrace. The hotel also has an agreement with Pre-Saint Didier wellness spa for guests to use. A range of massages are available on request at the reception.

The hotel provides free WiFi, private parking, heated ski storage and a shuttle bus service to the cable cars.
