Driving Directions
Road access to Pila is from the Aosta Valley A5 toll motorway. The motorway exit for Pila is Aosta Est, some 18km from the resort. The last part of the drive is on fairly steep mountain roads and snow chains or winter tyres are essential and should be booked in advance.
Getting to Pila by public transport
If travelling on a restricted budget, public transport is a feasible, but time consuming alternative.
There are limited bus services from Turin airport and Milan Lampugnano to Aosta, from where there are connecting buses, as well as a cable car, up to the resort, but no bus service from Milan Malpensa.
