Situated some 10 minutes walk from the centre of Saalbach and in the heart of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm -Leogang skicircus, the Hotel Sonne is a very comfortable family -run 4-star offering excellent facilities. An included taxi service is run from the hotel to and from the ski-lifts.

A traditional Austrian balconied chalet style building, half white-rendered and dark timber facades, opens into a surprisingly contemporary and very smart interior. A new chic lobby and hotel bar with open fire-place adjoins the Zirmstube lounge, where guests can chill before dinner.

Comfortable rooms decorated in ‘Austrian cottage style’ come ensuite with flatscreen TVs and internet access. Suites are presented in contemporary style.

Dining in the Wintergarten, which is furnished in modern style, or in the Sonnenstube is a pleasureable experience, with international and Austrian cuisine on offer. Buffet breakfasts are organic.

The excellent spa and fitness facilities include an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, infrared sauna, Finnish sauna, brine steam bath and relax lounge with open fire and water-beds in the Sun House. There is also a fitness studio.
