This traditional alpine chalet with its yellow façade and charmingly decorated in local and historical figurines, stands proudly in the heart of the town, on the foundations from 1512 where this building was first mentioned as a tavern during the 30 years war.

The Atlas offers both rooms and apartments; the apartments are located in a building nearby and are fitted with fully equipped kitchenettes and flat screen TVs. The apartments have a modern alpine look, with rich wood flooring and leather sofas and chairs. Whereas some of the rooms in the main hotel are more traditional with warm carpeted floors and rich wood finishes giving them a homely atmosphere.
The Poststube restaurant serves a range of Bavarian delicacies, local beers, coffee and cakes. Served with friendly hospitality in the charming dining room with hanging ceiling lamps providing a warm lighting with intriguing pictures and painting dominating the walls. Buffet breakfast is served each morning. The Postbar and lounge is somewhere guests can enjoy an evening drink and unwind the activities of the day.
