Burg Vital Resort is a luxury 5-star hotel in the car-free mountain hamlet of Oberlech: this stunning traditional alpine chalet-style building is set on a plateau at 1700 metres looking over Lech in the Vorarlberg, which is less than five minutes skiing below.

The hotel is also only two minutes from the Petersbodenbahn cable car that takes you up to join into the whole Arlberg ski area and in particular allows skiers to join the ‘Weisse Ring’ ski circuit around Lech, Zurs, Zug and Oberlech.

5-star in the beautiful Lech valley is the real deal and the Burg Vital is no exception. This is an outstanding venue by any standards.  The interiors are the result of an exquisite combination of traditional wood finishes and a tasteful choice of modern country house fabrics and furnishings. 

The suites are breathtakingly stylish but in an understated way. No bling here. And rooms the same and of course are spacious, en-suite, include Wi-fi, flatscreen cable TV and some with balcony.

The hotel’s restaurant Griggeler Stube is elegant country house comfort par excellence. Again its pleasingly understated style speaks volumes and naturally it serves exquisite cuisine with 3-toque recognition from the Gault Millau guide. All food is freshly prepared using organic produce. A half-board option includes a breakfast buffet and a select menu.

Guests staying at the Burg Vital can unwind in its lavish spa facilities. These feature an indoor designer pool, various saunas and herbal steam rooms, a tepidarium, Kneipp foot bath and several relaxation areas with water beds etc..
